I just met these guys at the gym. If ur drunk you call them up. They ride in on their bike, put it in ur trunk, then drive you home. Just started their business 3 weeks ago. Good idea. Put their card in my wallet.

Watching "Enter the Ninja". Must be the worst movie ever but I can't seem to turn.

Was in the foothills today and I came across this unique looking rock.

Here at the Lobos NIT game

At one of my lunch spots

This little old man rides his bike to lunch every day. With 4 parrots and 2 dogs! Seems like a cool guy.

Here's a pic of my friend Joe Lozito and I the morning of my fight. If you don't know who he is, google him and check him out. He's a real hero.

Thanks everyone who sent me a congrats. It means a lot to me. Now I'm going to take a week off and figure out what to do next. I'm already itching to get back into the gym though.

I won my fight tonight. Tko 1st round. Albuquerque really turned out to support. I'm humbled.

This will be the first time since 2003 that I didn't wear Tapout shorts for my fight. I'm excited to be wearing Affliction. Time for a change.

About This Blog

I was born in Butte, Montana.
A proud town known for its hard nosed rough sort of people. From there, I moved to a small town in Central Oregon where I spent a number of years before moving to Southern California. This is where I went to Canoga Park High School and then LA pierce Junior College.

I spent my last two years of college football at a division II school in Las Vegas New Mexico called New Mexico Highlands University. I finished playing football there and then coached for a few years when I met a guy teaching mma at the local rec. center. I was sold right away and drove to Albuquerque to meet Greg Jackson, who was already well known in the area. I then decided to move to Albuquerque to train with him. That was in 2000 and I have been here every since.

I got my big break in 2005 when, after my training partner Diego Sanchez did so well on The Ultimate Fighter season 1 where I got the opportunity to be on the second season of the show. Although I didn't win, I learned a lot from both Rich Franklin and my training partners while at the same time developing lifelong friendships. The show was great for my career, and has given me the opportunity to become a full time fighter and to progress to where I am today.

I have had 11 fights now in the UFC and I am currently regarded as one of the best fighters in the world.
